MOGA Prenatal Yoga
Pregnancy is you giving your body to your baby, your soul is being given to this tiny soul, your energy is being given to give energy to this life in the making. A lot is happening so that your body can support, nourish and grow this baby within you. How beautiful is that? Admittedly, it is not easy work and can feel overwhelming.
So why is prenatal yoga a good practice to implement? Well lets be real your body and mind are in flux, sleep is sporadic, you might even feel overwhelmed, movement is challenging, pains are increasing, mobility and flexibility are changing, and fatigue is now your new metric for "normal."
Prenatal yoga helps you to connect with yourself through breath and movement. Along the way, teaching tools to help with labour, through breath awareness, and pelvic floor integration.
Prenatal yoga helps to reduce stress on both mind and the body which is beneficial for both mom and bay, helps alleviate physical discomforts (back aches, postural changes, sore feet, etc.), improves mood and provides a safe space for you to bond with your baby.
