Pregnancy is hard on the mind and the body. Here, we are creating a safe-space for you to dedicate some time for yourself.
This workshop is set with the intention of building connection. Connection with yourself and this Covid safe (online) community that we are cultivating here!
Why prenatal yoga? Prenatal yoga focuses on connecting breath with movement. Why is this relevant? It helps to alleviate anxiety for labor but also teaching you ways to prepare for labor. This is accomplished through pelvic floor integration and awareness as well as breath awareness.
The benefits of prenatal yoga is that it reduces both physical and emotion stress, helps provide relief to physical discomforts such as backaches, postural changes, sore feet, swelling, pelvis discomfort, sciatic pain, etc. In doing this practice will help to improve mood and and provide a safe space for you to bond with your baby.
